Bioinformatics
Our research consists of two main components: structural bioinformatics and systems biology. Projects in protein structure analysis are principally aimed at prediction of biomolecular interaction sites and protein function. In systems biology our focus is on the analysis of high volume data, including genome sequences and other more complex data. Our other research interests, including various aspects of genome-enabled science, are collaborative with experimental groups within the Faculty of Biological Sciences. Our work is funded by the BBSRC, EPSRC, MRC, Royal Society, AstraZeneca and GlaxoSmithkline.
